The Essentials package is free to use when you pass the $25 per-application fee on to your applicants at checkout.
Are there transaction fees?
Yes. Lazarus uses Stripe to process payments, and fees depend on the payment type. ACH payments cost 0.8% with a $5 cap. Credit cards cost 2.9% + 30¢. You can configure these to pass through to the payer at checkout.
Are online payments secure?
Yes. Payments run through Stripe. Card and bank details are never stored on Lazarus servers, and payment security compliance is handled by Stripe.
Can families apply for more than one child at once?
Yes. A family submits one application for all their children. Guardian details are collected once for the household, each student gets their own set of answers, and you can accept or reject each student independently.
Can I charge different application fees over time?
Yes. Add multiple price tiers with date ranges to any form, such as earlybird, standard and late. Tiers switch over automatically, you can price per student or per household, and any tier can be $0.
How do I get my existing information into Lazarus?
Sometimes it is as simple as sending a few reports. When it is harder, we work with you closely and can handle the migration ourselves.
