Essentials is free when you pass the $25 application fee on to applicants at checkout. If you don't charge for applications, neither do we. Payments run through Stripe, and transaction fees (for example 0.8% for ACH, 2.9% + 30¢ for cards) can be configured to pass through at checkout. What does "free with pass-through pricing" mean?
The Essentials package is free to use when you pass the $25 per-application fee on to your applicants at checkout.
Are there transaction fees?
Yes. Lazarus uses Stripe to process payments, and fees depend on the payment type. ACH payments cost 0.8% with a $5 cap. Credit cards cost 2.9% + 30¢. You can configure these to pass through to the payer at checkout.
Are online payments secure?
Yes. Payments run through Stripe. Card and bank details are never stored on Lazarus servers, and payment security compliance is handled by Stripe.
